Keira showing off this weekend!!!!🔥🔥🔥💪🥎
Riptide 18u made their annual trip to Rehobeth Beach Delaware to kick off our season! While we didn't come home with any new hardware this weekend, we came away with pride and a TON OF MEMORIES!
Not only did the girls go 3 for 4 on the field, they also came back in today's first game from 5 runs behind with the team rallying behind a hit by Abby Bowles and a clutch performance by Maria Vaughn who drove in the tying run today sending the stands into cheers!!!! The next inning the game was jotted down as a walk off win! What an exciting game!!!!!
Tide fell just prior to the championship game giving their opponent, Parkville Pride, the best run for their money all weekend! There will be a next time!!!!!
We would like to give a special shout out to Keira Cannon, our pitcher and center fielder for not only her fine job on the rubber, and in the field, but the stellar performance at the plate! On the mound Keira struck down 9 batters in 7 innings, and with her stick she came away with the leading .750 batting average for the weekend, driving in 5 RBIs, and batted the cycle for 2 singles, 2 doubles, a triple, and her first ever OUT OF THE PARK HOMERUN!
We miss you Lilly F, Mallory, and Kenzie!
