FALL IS HERE !!!!!!!

The cold is starting to set in and the fall schedule is officially on. Just a reminder to call ahead if you want to do a class other than your normally scheduled class. Some of the newer classes have to fill before we can start them, and we have had 28 trial classes in the last 2 weeks, so many of the classes will be filling fast.

Given that most of Yorktown has lost power, My Gym - Yorktown, unfortunately, is not outside of this. We are still without electric as of Tuesday, at noon. We will update here on Facebook to keep you current. Fingers crossed with hopes power will be restored by Wednesday morning!

Upon enrollment in a My Gym class, children ages 2 ½ years and older will automatically be enrolled in our critically acclaimed Building Blocks program and will receive age-appropriate skill and development literature as well as milestone posters to track their achievements and post their recognition reward stickers. Throughout the Building Blocks program, the children will participate in periodic Building Blocks Acknowledgment Ceremonies where they will be recognized for attempting and learning new skills. One at a time, the children will demonstrate their skills, be showered with applause and affirmation for their accomplishments, and receive stickers, progression ribbons, medals, trophies, graduation certificates, and more!

How does the Building Blocks program work?

With enrollment in a My Gym class, children will automatically be enrolled in the Building Blocks program and will receive posters for tracking their progress and posting rewards. Each week, our experienced and caring teachers will work with our students on new physical skills, social achievements, and developmental milestones, helping them to accomplish the next Building Block.

The most exciting part is that, as our My Gym Kids conquer the Building Blocks, they will celebrate their successes during our Presentation Week events. Children will be beaming with increased confidence and self-esteem as they participate in Awards Presentation Ceremonies where each child will demonstrate the new skill accomplished, receive his or her awards, and be showered with applause and pride! Parents will want to invite family and friends and, of course, bring a camera!
