🏆 COMPETITIVE TRAINING PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT ⛳

One of the biggest additions to our 2026–2027 Competitive Training Program happens outside of class.

🔥 Every player receives ONE complimentary 60-minute simulator session EVERY WEEK!

Why did we add this?

Because improvement shouldn’t only happen when a coach is standing next to you.

Our program is designed to connect coaching → reflection → independent practice → competition. Players aren’t just told what to work on—they’re learning how to practice with a purpose and take ownership of their own development. WRG Competitive Training Program 2026-2027.pdf

Every Monday, players finish class with their CoachNow reflection, including one important question:

🎯 “What am I going to work on before the next class?”

That answer becomes their suggested priority for the week. WRG Competitive Training Program 2026-2027.pdf

Then comes the important part…

We give them the TIME to actually work on it.

Each player receives a FREE 1-hour simulator session every week, separate from Monday training and Friday Competition Nights. They can use that time to practice, play, work on their CoachNow goal, complete TrackMan challenges, or test what they’ve been practicing in simulated golf. WRG Competitive Training Program 2026-2027.pdf

A practice session might look like:

⏱️ 10 minutes: Warm up & identify the day’s ball flight
🎯 25–30 minutes: Purposeful practice on their individual priority
⛳ 20–25 minutes: Play, compete or transfer that skill onto the golf course

That’s what we want this program to be about:

TRAIN → REFLECT → PRACTICE → COMPETE → IMPROVE 🏆

Our goal isn’t simply to create better swings. It’s to develop more independent, accountable and knowledgeable competitive golfers who understand their games and know how to practice. WRG Competitive Training Program 2026-2027.pdf

🎯 TEACHING TIP TUESDAY ⛳

Your golf swing doesn’t have to look perfect to produce good golf shots.

Golfers spend a lot of time trying to make their swing look better.

Perfect takeaway.
Perfect position at the top.
Perfect follow-through.

But here’s the thing…

🏌️ The golf ball doesn’t care what your swing looks like.

It responds to what the club is doing at impact.

What matters?

🎯 Clubface control — Can you consistently control where the ball starts?

↔️ Face-to-path relationship — Can you produce a ball flight you understand and can play with?

💥 Quality of contact — Are you consistently finding a functional part of the clubface?

📊 Predictable patterns — When you miss, do you have a pretty good idea where that miss is going?

Watch the best players in the world and you’ll see plenty of different-looking golf swings.

Different grips. Different takeaways. Different positions. Different tempos.

But they all find a way to deliver the club effectively and produce repeatable results.

That’s an important distinction when you’re working on your own game:

❌ Don’t chase positions just because they look better.

✅ Make changes because they improve impact, ball flight, contact or consistency.

Your goal isn’t to build the prettiest swing on the driving range.

Your goal is to build a swing that produces golf shots you can trust on the course. 🎯⛳

⛳ **SUNDAY GOLF QUESTION**

We spend A LOT of time as golfers thinking about what we need to fix…

The driver that won’t cooperate. 😅
The irons that aren’t quite consistent.
The wedge shots we leave 20 feet short.
Or those 4-foot putts we’d rather forget. 😂

But today, let’s flip the conversation.

🔥 **What’s the BEST part of your golf game RIGHT NOW?**

If you had to pick just ONE:

💥 **Driver** — You’re confident stepping onto the tee
🎯 **Irons** — You’re giving yourself chances at the green
🔥 **Wedges** — You’re dangerous from scoring range
⛳ **Short Game** — You can get yourself out of trouble
🏌️‍♂️ **Putting** — You’re rolling it with confidence

Golfers are usually pretty quick to tell you what they’re struggling with…but recognizing what you’re doing **well** is important too.

Confidence matters. And knowing the strengths of your game can help you make smarter decisions and play to those strengths on the course.

👇 **So you have to choose ONE…**

**What’s the strongest part of your game right now?**

Drop it in the comments! ⛳🔥

🧠 **SUNDAY GOLF THOUGHT** ⛳

**You don’t need to leave the course with 10 things to work on.**

Think about how easy it is to finish a round and start making a mental list…

❌ Bad drive on #3
❌ Chunked wedge on #6
❌ Three-putt on #9
❌ Missed green on #12
❌ Another bad drive on #15

Before you know it, you’re convinced **everything needs fixing.** 😂

But here’s the problem:

**Not every bad shot is a problem.**

One poor swing might just be one poor swing. What matters more is finding the **pattern that consistently cost you shots.**

After your next round, instead of creating a list of everything that went wrong, ask yourself:

🎯 **“What ONE thing deserves most of my attention this week?”**

Maybe you consistently missed approach shots short.

Maybe too many tee shots put you out of position.

Maybe you struggled getting up-and-down around the greens.

Maybe distance control on the greens led to too many three-putts.

**Find the pattern. Pick ONE priority. Build your practice around it.**

You’ll accomplish a lot more by spending focused time improving one area than bouncing between 10 different things because of 10 different bad shots.

🏌️ **Your worst shot doesn't always tell you what to practice. Your patterns do.**

🎯 QUICK TIP TUESDAY: Stop Judging Your Practice By Your BEST Shot ⛳

We’ve all done it…

You’re on the range hitting balls, you stripe ONE perfectly — and immediately think:

“There it is. I fixed it.” 😂

But that one perfect shot probably isn’t the best indicator of where your golf game actually is.

Instead, pay attention to what happens MOST OFTEN.

🏌️ What’s your most common ball flight?
🎯 Where does the ball usually start?
↔️ Which direction does it tend to curve?
💥 Where are you consistently striking the clubface?
📊 What does your typical miss look like?

If you hit 10 shots and…

➡️ 6 fade right
➡️ 2 go straight
➡️ 1 hooks left
➡️ 1 is absolutely perfect

…that perfect shot shouldn’t be what you judge the session by.

Your pattern is the 6 shots that faded right.

Great practice isn’t about proving that you can hit a perfect golf shot.

It’s about improving the quality of your average shot and making your misses smaller and more predictable.

So next time you practice, don’t ask:

❌ “How good was my best shot?”

Ask:

✅ “What did most of my shots look like?”

Because the golfer who understands their tendencies has a much better chance of knowing what actually needs to improve. 🎯

💭 MONDAY GOLF QUESTION ⛳

We’ve officially reached the point in the golf season where you probably have a pretty good idea of what’s helping your game… and what’s still costing you shots. 👀

So here’s today’s question:

🏌️ What’s ONE thing you want to improve about your golf game before the end of 2026?

Maybe it’s…

🎯 Hitting more greens
💥 More distance off the tee
🏌️‍♂️ Keeping the driver in play
⛳ Better putting
🔥 Sharper wedges & short game
📊 Better course management
🧠 More confidence and consistency

Or maybe there’s one specific shot that’s been driving you crazy all season. 😂

Whatever it is, pick ONE.

Improvement gets a lot easier when you stop trying to fix everything at once and start putting focused practice into the areas that can make the biggest difference.
