Just a friendly reminder, the Fairbury Legion Baseball signup deadline is approaching. Please submit your registrations by the end of April!

Forms are available in the High School Office, you can contact a coach, or print one out online at https://www.nelegionbaseball.net/rulesandforms Registration form is (2026 Form 2)

2026 age eligibility for Juniors/Seniors is anyone with the birth year of 2007-2013

A special congratulations to Dominic Joe, CJ Goeking, and Miles Tatro for all being selected to the Class B4 District All Tournament Team! The selections were based off of their outstanding individual tournament performances throughout districts.

Although the Landsharks fell one game short of qualifying for state this year, they made an amazing run at it! They ended up getting 3rd in their district. If you see any of the players around, be sure to congratulate them on a great season!!!

The Landsharks are still in the hunt in the Class B-4 District tournament!! They entered the bracket as the number 6 seed, and although they lost a nail biter in the bottom of the seventh on Friday to the #3 seeded York (8-9), they have bounced back and won against #7 seed Aurora (5-3) on Saturday, and mercy ruled the #1 seeded SOS (15-5 in 5 innings) this afternoon!

They will play again Monday at 4 pm in York for a chance to play in the district title match on Tuesday.

If you want to watch some baseball, come cheer these kiddos on tomorrow at Levitt Stadium in York! Go Sharks!!!

What an amazing turnout last night at the ball field! The bleachers were packed… in fact, all the space around the bleachers was filled up as well, and there were so many kids chasing foul balls and enjoying the games!

It was the last home games of the season, Blayne’s last home game as a Landshark, Youth night, Wing night, and the announcement of the name change and dedication of our annual Memorial weekend wood bat tournament to the Bill Melcher Memorial Wood Bat Tournament.

Once again, a huge THANK YOU to everyone that contributed to Fairbury Legion Baseball this year!

All youth ballplayers (boys and girls) in their jerseys will receive free admittance to the game, a free treat from the concession stand, and the opportunity to join a player on the field during player introductions (prior to the second game).
