Does anyone else feel like September asks something of us, even when we're not going back to school anymore?

Between the new month and fall just weeks away, a lot of us are also carrying real life changes right alongside the seasonal ones. And so often, that's exactly when our routines start to slip, and we make it mean something it doesn't.

In this week's podcast episode, we're talking about:
✨ Why change, even good change, is still something our nervous system has to adjust to
✨ Why consistency looks different in a season of transition than it does in a "normal" time
✨ What research actually says about small, repeatable habits versus big overhauls

The best part? Consistency doesn't require rigidity. It just requires one small thing we can return to, again and again, even on the hard days.

Wherever you are in your own season of change, we hope this episode meets you there. What's one small anchor that's helping you feel steady lately?

This week in our Two-minute Tuesday segment we are highlighting our little store, where you will find candles, shirts, LMNT electrolytes, and more.

There’s also a little free library where you will find books on many health & wellness topics available to you for free with no expectation of return. (I hate throwing books away…I would rather they find a new home).

So come check out our little store next time you head in for a class. Have a great week!

Ever start a new habit full of motivation, only to watch it quietly disappear a few weeks later?
You're not alone, and it's not a willpower problem. It's usually a scheduling and boundaries problem.

In this week's podcast episode, we're talking about:
✨ What actually happens when a habit has no schedule and no boundary around it
✨ Why consistency comes from your calendar, not your motivation
✨ How taking one habit at a time (and tracking your progress) makes change last

The best part? Research shows new habits take about two months to feel automatic. So if it still feels hard after a week, that's not failure. That's just where you are in the process.
A simple place to start: pick one small practice, put it on your calendar like any other appointment, and protect it the way you would a meeting with someone you respect.

We hope this episode gives you a little more patience with yourself as you build the habits you're working toward. 🤍
What's one thing you've been meaning to put on your calendar?

Today’s gratitude theme is based our your neighborhood. What/what are you thankful for in your neighborhood?

I love this one because there are so many things I love about my neighborhood. I chose to list 3 of my favorite locally owned businesses in the graphic, but there are many more things I could list.

What about your neighborhood do you feel grateful for?

oday’s words of wisdom are powerful ones. They remind us to let go of thoughts, especially those unhelpful ones we tend to ruminate on.

Sit with these words for a few moments today and see what comes up for you. And have a great rest of your week! Namaste.
