I wanted to wait until the end of the month to share this.

However, today I KNEW it was ready.

I have a goal to fly my own airplane this year and already it is transforming me in ways I FOR SURE could not have predicted.

I am recording a daily insight on my podcast for accountability and invitation should anyone feel called to it.

Today’s message felt raw, powerful and meant to be shared more publicly - so that we can evolve more deeply into WHO we are truly called to BE.

When I offer a presentation, I sometimes ask the audience to write down a note to themselves and to me.

It feels like such a harmonic gift of sharing and receiving.

These messages were received after my presentation at Emerge at the YWCA in Hanover on Friday.

This morning, in my quiet time, I read them, and felt the love from@the beautiful soul that wrote each one.

It feels like it honors our time together and allows it to tangibly be carried forward.

Thank you, precious women, for showing up. For sharing the gift of your time and words.

Good morning, courageous one…

Last week I was again reminded of what is important and what no longer serves.

You see, my husband was teaching a high school class in Maryland when he got the call. The one sharing that a shot had been fired in the school.

The call that reminded us that we live in a world where children, teachers, administrators are not safe from violence. As a result of that shot fired, a 15 year old died. Someone’s son. 🥲

Rather than leave it to someone else, wouldn’t you want to help build a world that loves more and edges out fear and violence?

I know I do.

So. I have a request from each of you.

Please lean in. Love yourself more. Be grace filled with your self more. Believe in your deep desires and dreams more. Be boldly courageous. And lead from there.❤️‍🔥

I hope to see you soon. We are even more powerful when we connect. And build together.

Our dog Harry dug through a bunny litter’s nest, and we found these two…

As we were unsure if the mama would come back, we took in the current responsibility to house and feed them. We are learning by trial and error and I’m noticing my anxiety from worry that they will die on our watch.

I’m also recognizing a process (one that my teenagers have gone through, my clients and our projects in Kenya). We take care to provide a safe space for growth and then with intuitive knowing, we let go and launch our teenagers, or clients or bunnies into the world practicing the trust that we did our job as best we could and to hold on any longer would be detrimental to their health.

Empowerment lives here - in that liminal space between hand holding and launching.

I live in that liminal space in support of you. Yes, you. The one that wants to launch but also wants some encouragement, help with a plan and reminder of her awesomeness so that craziest dream yet will begin to take form.

My son, Will, popped in to say hi. He just completed his first week in college.

He walked in full of vibrant, healthy energy. My mama tears flowed because we have walked some really tough seasons together. To see him excited and empowered was simply inspirational to behold.

I am so proud of each of my three sons. In this moment I am basking in the reminder, ‘it is always working.’ 🥹

Even when it doesn’t look or feel like it at times.

I’m here to share an example that the tough moments have purpose, have a place to build the foundation of your fierceness from.

Dear woman with a dream.

Just like this African violet, you need fertile soil, you need light, you need water, you need love and you need a big enough space for your roots to grow, deepen and connect with others.

You have been honoring your dream with one hand tied behind your back. Dear one, why don’t you use the other one too?

Water your dream with the richness of your own belief.
Nourish your soil with grace and trust.
Go into spaces that support and allow you to expand.
Connect with other souls that harmonize with your dream and allow it to grow in the most unimaginable ways…and in turn you support theirs too🌎🌍
