We are 4 days away from this Saturday's Silver Spring Speedway throwback night at BAPS Motor Speedway! Today's post is for our Grandfather Sam Lauer who owned limited late models at the Springs and Susquehanna from 1985 to 1991. Pictured below is all his cars as well as all the drivers he had over the years! This Saturday all of his drivers will be in attendance signing autographs with the exception of Don Pifer, who is no longer with us.

Pap's biggest accomplishment in racing was getting a win at Silver Spring aswell as winning the Track Championship at Susquehanna Speedway in 1991! Pap and Randy Christine Sr. Co-owned the 40 car in '90 & '91. Excited to have our family owned #40 in action this Saturday keeping his number alive!

We are 5 days away from this Saturday's Silver Spring Speedway throwback night! In honor of that, this week we will posting cars that our family/friends drove at the speedway! Pictured here is Long time Family friend Ed Hake who raced his number 5 Limited Late model there in 1984. He also ran his number 91 car there in the mid 70s and the 18 car for Will Shatzer in 1985. Both the 5 and 18 car were kept at our dad's shop!

Little loose in the heat, tried to tighten up for the feature and what we did helped, can definitely be better but have some new things to add to the notebook. Doing the best with what we got and getting laps! Thank you to all the sponsors , family and friends who help and support us each week. We haven't been running the best lately but win or lose we will always post our results for the people that support us!

Thinking about hitting the $2000 to win topless race at Path Valley, we will keep the page updated!

The time has come! This Thursday the World of Outlaws Late Model Series invades Selinsgrove Speedway & Raceway Park and its gonna be a good show! If your not doing anything get out and support the track and see some of the best in the business take on the fastest 1/2 mile on the east coast!

Tried my best to keep up with big Dawgs after redrawing the 1... ended up losing it and spun her out. Was coming back up after going to the tail and lost it again, really disappointed in myself with how the night went but cant change what already happened. Definitely a fun track

Motor blew up in hot laps... was planning on Selinsgrove Speedway this Thursday with the outlaws but obviously that isn't gonna happen. We have the other car but that motor just isn't up to s***f to take on the fastest 1/2 mile on the east coast. We will probably done for a little while

Timed HORRIBLE. Started basically dead last made it through the first pile up, then a car spun infront of me and caught my right rear taking the quarter panel, decking, and spoiler. The crew got the hanging sheet metal off to get me back out there but due to all the missing parts there was no downforce which caused the car to be super loose and ended up pulling it in.

Thanks to everyone that helped and supported us this weekend, definitely wasn't a easy one...
