I would like to take this opportunity, after reading the last several news articles, to congratulate each and every one of my 2024 York Softnball players. The hard work & dedication this team put in was evident in the stats, broken records, accomplishments & awards. That last week when I was calculating stats & averages, I could not have been more proud & genuinely excited for what is yet to come.

Sadly, I was not given the option of congratulating you & handing out those awards in person. I was asked to sign a letter of resignation due to "parent complaints", which I was completely unaware of. To say this was a complete shock & disappointment, is an understatement.

To my Seniors: I'm so proud of you! I wish you all the best in your futures both on & off the field. I've enjoyed being part of your sports career.

To my Duke players: What a season! You've all come so far & accomplished so much...keep setting new goals, I have no doubt you'll achieve anything you work hard for!
