Master Jae Kwon Kim is a 6th degree Black Belt who began his Tae Kwon Do training in Korea at the age of 5. His love of Tae Kwon Do led him to continue his training in the States and established the World Martial Arts Center in 1996 in the city of Yorba Linda. In 2009 he opened
his second location in the city of Anaheim. Master Kim was recognized for his dedication and was assigned the position Chairman of Planning Committee for the California TaeKwonDo United. He is also the former Vice-chairman of Coaching Science Committee for the California State TaeKwonDo Association (2003-2005). He coached the Korean American National Tae Kwon Do Team (2004, 2007) at the Korean Nationals and was also the ATU National Team Coach for Korea Open in 2008. Master Kim’s mission to empower students to achieve their goals and help them experience physical, mental and spiritual harmony within themselves has lead him to develop national champions at his school. He is a respected figure in the Tae Kwon Do industry. Staff Members-
All martial arts instructors at World Martial Arts Center in Yorba Linda, CA are trained to ensure that our martial arts classes are safe, effective and fun. Our instructors and instructor assistants are trained to focus on more than just teaching martial arts skills. Instructors also learn how to work with all students, tailoring their martial arts teaching methods to fit the individual child. Emphasis is put on encouragement and positive correction. We are committed to teaching the physical skills of martial arts while applying attitude-shaping exercises aimed at bringing out the best character and physical potential in each student. Through weekly martial arts training, instructors advance their own martial art and educational knowledge to become even more effective martial arts teachers. The World Martial Arts Center instructors are required to maintain their personal level of martial arts knowledge and a high level of personal growth.
