UPDATE: A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Mary McFlynn will take place on Wednesday, August 19th at 7:00 PM at St. Barnabas Church, Woodlawn.

It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Mary McFlynn.

Mary and the McFlynn family were among the very first families to join Sperrin Ógs and they have played an important role in our club over many years.

Mary was a wonderful person whose warmth, kindness and sense of humour brought joy to so many club events. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Gerry, her children Joseph, Darragh, Liam and Una, and the entire McFlynn family at this incredibly difficult time.

May Mary rest in eternal peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam. ❤️🤍

💙❤️ U10 Football – C*C 2026 ❤️💙

What a performance from our U10 Sperrin Rangers this weekend in Philadelphia!

The lads showed incredible heart and determination throughout the tournament, with a fantastic A Division quarter-final win over Chicago St. Jarlath’s before coming up against a strong Rockland side in the semi-final.

They never stopped battling and represented our club with pride from start to finish.

A huge well done to all the players, coaches, parents and supporters. We’re incredibly proud of you all! 👏💙❤️

🏆 LIBERTY BELL CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a weekend for our Sperrin Rangers U-8s! 💙❤️

The boys were outstanding from start to finish, winning every game with incredible teamwork, determination and skill. Every player gave absolutely everything for the jersey, played with smiles on their faces, and represented our club with pride.

A special mention goes to our captain, Cillian Niland, whose heart, leadership and relentless determination inspired his teammates all weekend. He led by example, never gave up on a ball, and showed what it means to be a captain.

Thanks to the parents for making this worthy trip.

The future is bright for this group. 💙❤️
