The bike that started it all...
_
This week when I was in LA I had a chance to teach in WEHO. That was the first studio I ever rode in. And bike 37, well that was first bike I sat on in a class. This is the exact spot where my life changed. This is where I made a promise to myself. This is where I stopped saying I can’t. This is the place where I said enough is enough. This is where good enough wouldn’t cut it and where I decided that all I wanted was GREATNESS!! Most importantly, it is right here where I promised to fight for everything I wanted, to show up, and put in the work!

Every time I’m in LA I make it a point to stop by the studio and either teach or just ride. And when no one is looking, I take a moment for myself to reflect on everything that has transpired in my life since that first class back in February of 2012. Without that class, without these bikes, without these spaces, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. So thank you for being part of my journey through life and for every person that has been along for any part of this crazy ride! Also that instructor teaching that day you may ask? Just the one and only ! Yeah no biggie or anything! 😉 I remember what you said at the end of this class still to this day.. Thank you for your words of encouragement that day and every day since then.

Just remember this, instructor of any sort or not. You never know how incredibly strong your words are and what they can mean to someone and how your words might completely change someone’s life. So always speak from the heart and speak with conviction.
