It was the first tournament of the Rez ball season at the Yerington Tribal Gym.

Our first through third team got a win last night. The next game will be today at 11:30 AM.

Our fourth-sixth team faced an outstanding team for their first match-up. We came up short, but hopefully, we will get another chance to compete against the Chippewas; that is a phenomenal team. Their next game will be today 1:45 PM, against the Y-Town Revengers.

Our 1st-3rd Spurs team fell three points short in the final four game this year at Nationals in Mesa, Arizona. It was a learning experience for my players and me as a coach.

My aim is to continue inspiring our players to become skilled athletes and respectful competitors. They must carry these values beyond the court, becoming successful and respectful individuals in our ever-changing, fast-paced world.

Our 1st-3rd and 4th-6th grade Spurs teams will be ready to compete this year at all the Rez ball tournaments for the 2024/2025 season. Stay hungry, stay humble.
