Walker River Bowmen Club had two members compete The Silver Arrow Bowmen Shoot in Reno this weekend!!

Results were:
Isaac Metcalf - 2nd place men's outlaw
Derik Hasse - 2nd place men's bowhunter

Awesome to have our members representing our club across the state!!

Walker River Bowmen Club had six members compete in the Annual Unmarked Bristecone Bowmen Archery Shoot
Results were:
Lucy Rechel -1st place women's recurve
Chris Martin - 1st place men's open
Kenzie Bolton - 1st place women's outlaw
Jaedyn Martin - 3rd place women's BHFS
Skip Bolton - 3rd place men's 50+ BHFS
Vince Bolton - 3rd place men's open

Honorable mention to Jaedyn for shooting a 12 at an unmarked range at a shoot off for 3rd place with a crowd of spectators!

Friday 5/29/26 at 5:30pm meet us at the River Course!!

We'll shoot and catch up and see who's hunting this season and who got tag soup!

🏹 We'd like to start shooting at 5:30 just to make sure everyone gets enough daylight to shoot all 14 targets. If you can't make it till later but still want to shoot come when you can!!

Thursday night 3D outdoor league night will still be held tonight - Friday is just a bonus night to get everyone back out for fun

This turns into a busy time of the year for a lot of us so we're hoping this new opportunity encourages our members to get out and shoot on their own schedule and that you all enjoy it!

Course Details:
🏹Please park by the river on Goldfield on the South East Side in the dirt lot.
🏹Access the course through the gate
🏹Scorecards are located in a container near Target 1
🏹Shoot payment cards must be purchased at the club prior to shooting

Please be mindful and pack out any trash you may have and don't leave anything behind.

Thursday Night Shoots:�We are still holding our regular Thursday night outdoor shoots at the club.

This Thursday, we’ll be mixing things up and heading out to the river course so everyone can check it out together.

🏹 Please plan to meet at the river at 5:30 PM
🏹 If you can’t make it right at 5:30, come when you can and shoot as long as you have daylight

We’re excited to share that we now have a permanent 3D course set up down by the river for club members to enjoy anytime!
