Longmire fields are good to go for Tuesday, 6/9 as long as it doesn't dump buckets! The closed signs are out there but we can use them per the city. 😊

An email was sent out to qualifying players' families but the 8U All-Star Tryouts have been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 10th at 5:30 at Longmire! Player cannot be 9 BEFORE May 1st and they must be an existing NBYB Spring 2026 player! If you have questions regarding eligibility, please message Facebook.

Longmire and YMS Fastpitch Games have been rained out/canceled for Monday 6/8. 8U All Star tryouts at Longmire have also been rained out/canceled for today. Rescheduling info TBD.

Amanda Andujar, our Fundraising Director, will be at Longmire tonight from 6-8 p.m. just outside concessions to collect raffle baskets! Baskets will be raffled off at our End of Season Tournament on Saturday!

Spring pictures are in! They will be available tonight after 4:30pm for a coach or trusted team parent to pick up at the Longmire concession stand. Concessions usually close around 7:15 ish. Pickup will continue to be available throughout the week.

Reminder! Amanda is collecting raffle baskets tonight from 6-8 p.m.!

I’s almost that time of year again for our annual team raffle baskets!

An email was sent to all coaches on May 9 with information and basket ideas, and we’re excited to see the creative themes and contributions each team has put together this year.

I will be at Longmire on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to collect raffle baskets from teams. If those times do not work for you, please feel free to send me a message or give me a call so we can make other arrangements.

As a friendly reminder, we kindly ask teams to limit the amount of chocolate included in their baskets this year. With the warmer weather, chocolate tends to melt and can create quite a mess during the event.

Thank you to all of our families and coaches for your support and generosity. We truly appreciate everything you do and look forward to a fun end-of-season tournament, fantastic raffle baskets, and a great time together.

Fall Ball Registration for players and coaches is now open! www.yelmbaseball.org

Just like last fall, we will offer all divisions.

Older divisions may play games against other local leagues. Likely Capitol Little League (Tumwater) and/or Patriot Athletic League (Dupont). If we have enough teams in any division, we may opt to keep them in Yelm only.

Tball, Coachpitch and (hopefully) Rookies will all play in Yelm only.

We are fluid with planning Fall Ball because everything depends on how many teams we end up with. We're aiming to start practices early/mid August and games will run through October.

As always, NBYB Fall Ball is meant to be a developmental season where players can work on skills they would like to improve on. For example, a player may not have had an opportunity to pitch much during the spring season, Fall Ball is the chance for that player to get some game reps in order to be ready to pitch next spring.

Fall Ball is open to players for the level they will play at in 2027. For example, Fall Ball gives current Rookie players, who have been playing machine pitch ball, the opportunity to taste some kid pitch reps prior to the spring season.
