Team KJC,

This is great news for the growth of Judo in the US. Things are going back to the better days of our organizations working together. I'm very happy that this has happened again. Please double check your memberships to either organization. Please talk with me to figure out which membership is best for your Judoka.

Team KJC,

With the implementation of ESSB 5814 in WA there is going to be a change in cost due to retail sales tax.

My understanding is that our monthly tuition doesn't fall under the retail sales tax so we will not be charging the 9.5% retail sales tax (I've emailed the state for clarification) on monthly dues. This may, or may not change based on what the state responds with.

If we conduct a seminar, and charge a separate fee for doing it (which we probably won't charge), we would have to charge the retail sales tax on it.

What is does change, is a retail sales tax on the sale of the Judo Gi's. I have to include the retail sales tax on all future Judo Gi sales.

Please rest assured, that I'm committed to keeping cost down as low as possible. You've all become a part of our Family, and we will do everything we can to take care of you.

Team KJC,

Please find the calendar for the month of Jun below. We have quite a few moving parts this month. We have competitors going to the Junior Olympics in Spokane, WA from 18-21 Jun, and Our Summer BBQ/Potluck party. There's still time if you'd like to register your Judoka for the Junior Olympics.

Our theme this year for the Summer Party will be a Picnic. We will have it on 26 Jun from 5-7pm. We will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, and water. We can't wait to see what dish you'll bring.
