Today the gauge is 9.99 The bad news is you will definitely be dragging in a canoe. The good news is fishermen can wade from the access points to reach a favorite spot to find a smallmouth!

Crooked Creek Water Trail is located between Pyatt and Yellville , AR along Highway 62/412.
AGFC maintains loading ramps and parking areas at these access points.

Primitive camping is allowed at the Snow Access. Permission to camp near Kelly’s Slab must be arranged with the Fred Berry Conservation Center.

Find the USGS gauge for Crooked Creek for ideal fishing conditions.
Below 10 water going low
Over 14 water going too high

So long Summer!
Low water in the creek means less floating and more dragging. Canoes are heavy to tote so Kayaks are the way to go!
Our shuttle service is available if you want to fish , but no rentals until the water gauge at Kelly’s reads 10 or more.
Thank you for your continuing interest in Crooked Creek,one of the best smallmouth bass streams around!
