The Buffalo national river gets its water supply from rainfall, natural springs and groundwater runoff from the Ozark mountains. The river runs 135 miles in the national park boundary. In late summer the lower section remains floatable. The river level today is 3.43 ft and 134 cfs at Dillard ferry. Low and slow but still the awesome Buffalo river!! Best trip at this level is Spring Creek to Dillards ferry!
