The Maine Select Summer Program starts on June 14th at Waynflete!
Players in the 27/28 graduation years, this summer and fall will follow our traditional format. Players are invited to the team based off of coach recommendations and player profiles. We will hold a supplemental tryout on June 14th to fill remaining roster spots! Keep an eye on your inbox for that invite and register online to attend the tryout!
For players 2029 and younger, Maine Select will become a year round program. All details can be found on the website, www.maineselectlacrosse.com. The first trial practice is on June 14th at Waynflete. Registration for the trial practice is FREE!
Below is the layout for the new Maine Select year round programming:
A year-round lacrosse program is designed to develop elite athletes through continuous skill-building and high-level competition. This curriculum balances seasonal training intensity with three premier travel tournaments.
The program follows a periodized model, moving from technical fundamentals to advanced game IQ and culminating in national-level tournament play.
TOURNAMENT TEAM REQUIREMENTS
-Attend at least 80% of trainings in each season to be rostered
-Must be paid in full prior to tournament in order to attend tournament
-Roster spot is NOT guaranteed unless the above has been met
-Program Registration is ongoing, year round for training sessions
-Tournament rosters will fluctuate depending on new registrations, skill level and training attendance
Training Schedule:
January - June: 1 training a Month
July - September: 1 training a Week
October - December: 1 training a Month
***Players rostered on the team will have additional training leading up to the tournament. That cost will be included in the additional tournament player fees ***
Cost:
Payments will be based on a membership status

-Travel Team Fees will be in ADDITION to training costs.
-Film will be included in the Travel Team Fees
-Player Profile Marketing on Maine Mussels and Maine Select Social Media Platforms will be included in training and travel costs
