Tryouts are tomorrow, rain or shine! 24 hours to register. All players must be registered prior to checking in.
Get more for your money with the Mussels. What’s included in the travel cost this fall?
1. 7 practices
2. 3-4 tournaments
3. Game film for our players in the recruitment classes
4. 2 locations of Skills Programs (NYA & GNG) - 6 weeks
5. Additional cost - Skills and S&C in Brunswick - 6 weeks
Skills programs start next week, 9/14. Players not participating in travel can sign up for the Skills programs too

Tryouts for players in the 2027-2033 is this Sunday at the Waynflete Athletic Complex. All players must be registered for tryouts to attend
For players looking to train in Maine without travel this fall, our Skills Programs will start next week in Brunswick, GNG and NYA

For players looking to stay in Maine this fall but still keep a stick in your hands during the offseason, the Mussels will be hosting Skills and/or Skills plus S&C Programs at multiple locations.
1. NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY - Skills Only
Mondays starting September 14th for 6 weeks
2. ORTHO, BRUNSWICK - Skills plus S&C
Tuesdays starting September 22 for 6 weeks
3. GNG - Skills Only
Wednesdays starting September 16th for 6 weeks
Registration is online, tab “Mussels Boys Fall 2026, Skills & S&C”. Sharpen your skills with the Mussels coaches at the location most convenient for you.

Mussels Fall Travel season starts this Sunday at the Waynflete Athletic Complex
Please check the website for schedule updates. We will be starting this fall with 3 clinics per age group:
2029-2032: August 30, September 2 and September 9
2027-2028: August 30, September 1, September 3
These clinics are FREE to all players in Maine. If you are registered for our Fall travel program, please attend. If you are not registered (yet) and want to see what the Mussels is all about, register online using the link on our homepage (mainemusselslax.com)

Coach Manders- USM Head Coach, long time Mussels Coach. He will be leading the 2027s and 2029s this Fall
Coach Shackley- Westbrook Varsity Head Coach and long time Mussels coach. He will be with our 2027s this Fall
Coach Quenneville - Owner of the Mussels. He’ll be working with the 2028s and Middle School this Fall
(Not pictured) Max Rosner- Former Tafts Head Coach, current Assistant Varsity Coach at NYA. He’ll be with our 2030s this Fall

Maine Select has opened a rolling registration policy. Register now, next week or next month to be eligible to attend practices!
Players will be put through a trial run
Players will be invited back based on their trial run
Once a player is invited back, the practice fee is due
Players must attend 80% of the practices to be considered for the Select Tournament roster. There is an additional fee for players who are selected to travel and accept their roster invite
The next tournament Maine Select is attending will be the Paradise Coastal Tournament Naples, Florida in January 2027.
Watch the website for an additional tournament to be added in December.

Our next practice is August 5! Get registered to attend. You must be registered by August 30th to be eligible for the tournament in January.

August = Fall tryouts!
We are 26 days from our Mussels Fall Travel tryouts taking place on August 30 at Waynflete for players in the 2027-2032 graduation years
We’ve added more practices to our schedule with each team now scheduled for 10 practices
Teams will go to 3-4 tournaments this fall. Watch for updates on the website for a 4th event
Players in the ‘27 and ‘28 graduation years will have film included with their registration fee
All players must be registered online to attend a tryout. For a full cost breakdown, visit the website and go to “Mussels Boys Fall 2026, What We Offer”
