September 11th | We Remember
Today, we pause to remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage that day.
We also remember what happened in the days that followed. Communities came together. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers helped strangers. People showed up for one another.
Today, we’d like to encourage our PAA community to help carry that spirit forward.
In honor of the 2,977 people who lost their lives, let’s see if together we can inspire 2,977 acts of kindness.
It doesn’t have to be something big. Help a neighbor. Thank a first responder. Sit with someone who needs a friend. Donate to a local organization. Hold the door. Give someone a compliment. Do something kind without expecting anything in return.
And encourage your kids to participate, too.
If you complete an act of kindness today, tell us about it in the comments, or simply comment “Done” and help us keep it going.
2,977 lives remembered. 2,977 acts of kindness in their honor.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
