I came home from work to so many messages, comments, and swim lesson requests, and I’m honestly so grateful for all of the support you’ve shown Autumn’s Aquatics.

I’m sitting down now to start responding to everyone. If you reached out today and haven’t heard back yet, don’t worry. I promise I haven’t forgotten about anyone! I’ll be getting back to each family as quickly as I can in the order your messages came in.

I’ve already made 3 saves this summer (4 total since last year). In most cases, floaties were part of the problem, NOT the solution.

They can give kids a false sense of security or actually stop them from being able to help themselves when it counts.

If you’re planning a pool party, please hire a lifeguard! If your child isn’t fully comfortable swimming on their own, start lessons!! It could be the difference between life and death.

Three people drowned in pools on Long Island over Thursday and overnight into Friday, including a seven-year-old boy, police said.

Ten people have drowned so far this year in Suffolk, five of them under the age of 25, according to Mike Martino, a spokesman for Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine. There were 15 cases in all of 2023, he said.
