PROPOSITION 127 ( #91) Prohibit Trophy Hunting

The way this has been written up, once again, makes it sound like a great, humane idea. It's not. What we've witnessed with wolves will be played out again, but this time, it WILL impact the front range cities as well as rural communities. Let's place our trust in CPW to continue to successfully manage our great ungulate herds as well as our predators (big cats, coyotes, lynx, etc). Let's not make another ballot-biology mistake!

VOTE NO

This initiative creates a ban on recreational trophy hunting and commercial fur trapping in Colorado. According to Colorado Parks & Wildlife, hunting is one way in which the big cat population is effectively managed, and the populations at present are ideal. Animal extremists are using ballot box biology to scare voters about hunting and fi****ms, using misleading terms like “cruel death,” to accomplish other means, mostly anti-gun rhetoric.
