Our BU13 MLS team wanted to show their support for the Sozo FC girls program by donating $250 scholarships to two deserving female athletes. The recipients were selected by the women on our Sozo FC leadership team for their dedication, character, and commitment to the game.

Congratulations to Mia Rodriguez (GU11 Gold) and Alexa Arias (GU13 Gold) on this well-deserved recognition!

This year, Sozo FC proudly awarded more than $15,500 in scholarships to athletes who exemplify what it means to be a Sozo player. These recipients have demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership, and character both on and off the field, while inspiring those around them to be their best.

At Sozo FC, we believe sports can change lives. đź’™

What started as a small club has grown into a community focused on building character, leadership, and opportunity for local youth through the game we love.

From recreational soccer to top competitive leagues like MLS NEXT and RCL, our goal has always been bigger than wins and losses. We want every player to have a place to grow, compete, build confidence, and be part of something meaningful, on and off the field.

As we continue to grow, our commitment stays the same: creating opportunity for families, strengthening our community, and building better humans through sport.

The Sozo FC Gala is what reminded us that this is so much bigger than the game. It’s about the hugs after a tough loss, the laughter that fills the sidelines, the way we show up for each other on and off the field. It’s about community, about belonging, about knowing you’re never standing alone.

Thank you to all of our guest award presenters for giving our youth a vision of what they can accomplish. Thank you to for capturing such moments that will last forever. Thank you for setting the vibe through your music!
