"Losing more than 2lbs a week is unhealthy" probably the most unfounded statement in weightloss.

Being obese is absolutely unhealthy and getting the weight/fluid off your body and organs is a huge benefit and results in a healthier person.

Lose weight without trying, improve your mood and drive.

I started taking tesofensine a couple weeks ago to feel more motivated and get s**t done and it did just that. The only problem with it, I was dropping weight fast and had a 4 week transformation that I started today. Appetite was gone! And motivation was high. Had to stop for a bit to fill out for the challenge.

Now we are back on it and will continue to be on it for the next 4 weeks. This stuff is no joke. You have to be cautious with it and if you're on an SSRI might want to come off of it before starting. It also amplifies all other stimulants, like coffee.

Going to start this new year off with a quick transformation challenge! 4 weeks to get rid of the fluff and prep my body for a lean mass season.

28 days to drop 28 lbs!? Seems farfetched or "unhealthy"?

The biggest precursor to health issues and pain is swelling and inflammation. Getting rid of that swelling and giving your digestive system a break is great for overall health.

Doing this challenge will allow me to reset my insulin sensitivity and allow my body to be in a super compensation mode after. Here's the double edged sword. After cutting down like this your body will be a sponge and absorb everything you give it, so if you give it junk you will store it as fat, if you train hard and eat properly you will gain muscle at the highest rate possible.

The magic of Oil of Oregano. My secret weapon against illness and staying well. I was just using it on occasion every time I felt something coming on but with all the other benefits, like digestion, I will be adding a small amount to my daily routine.

Bang for you buck, this one is hard to beat. You will want to get it in capsule form, this stuff is STRONG in liquid form. I take 3-5 pills if I feel something coming on.

Gut health is a major focus for me moving forward. If we don't have good gut health the entire body and mind will suffer.

Sounds easy. But the truth is most of us have unrealistic expectations when it comes to transforming our bodies, myself included.
Having unrealistic expectations will lead to disappointment and discouragement.
Understanding that transforming into your ideal physique is always an ongoing process and will take years to achieve will put you in the right mindset for success.
Learn to enjoy the process, be objective, and gradually raise the bar for yourself.

I wasn't always able to press overhead without my upper back tightening up so much it would take me out of the gym. Over the years I went to many different types of therapist and tried all the different stretches to loosen up my back. It wasn't until recently I started doing an overhead, behing the back band stretch for my chest and shoulders that I was able to get the issue under control.
The body is a system and treating the symptoms won't fix the cause. Dig deep and find the cause of your issues and the symptoms will naturally disappear.

Back at it! Time to improve.

Had a week off to eat all the crap I never eat and felt every bit of it. I'm not sure if I feel worse on a hard core diet or eating like a standard American.

I do like to take the approach of eating enough bad food, in a small window to make me feel sick so I remember it when I'm dieting. Which really doesn't take much and allows for less overall time to clear it out of my system.

Burn out is now behind me and I'm ready to hit it hard again. This "off season" will be treated just like a cutting season with attention on tracking the diet and keeping a close eye on my physique, as to not get to fat.
