The dynamics of summer tours set the stage for wrestlers to grow in their faith and improve their skills as an athlete and competitor. Tours teach servant leadership, expand world perspectives, give vision and purpose, facilitate growth in wrestling knowledge and abilities, as well as provide an opportunity to experience the power of Christ and the word of our testimonies. These experiences are no
t only for the one who goes, they also impact families, campuses, churches, and communities as the experiences are brought back home. One of the trademarks of an AIA tour is the excellent training, coaching and competitive wrestling opportunities for high school, college, and post-collegiate wrestlers. One value of AIA is to build into those being sent. We do this though personal discipleship, Bible studies, team building exercises, evangelistic training and opportunities, as well as through cultural education and ministry exposure. As an AIA wrestler, you will have the chance to compete in international tournaments
against teams from around the globe, train alongside members of these teams, and be sharpened by your teammates - many are from di erent regions in the USA. On a summer tour you will live within another culture and have many opportunities to share your faith in a variety of ways. AIA ministers within the culture through speaking opportunities and distribution of humanitarian supplies, Bibles, gospel literature and films. AIA has often been given open doors to share at prisons, schools, wrestling clubs, churches, and practices. Wrestlers will also have the chance to be a part of small group Bible studies within the culture allowing relationships to be formed with those they are ministering to.
