Our center has a water play park, lap lanes, therapy pool, hot tub, 1/8 mile track, basketball courts, cardio and weight room, aerobic/dance room, racquetball court, a youth/teen center, indoor climbing wall, senior/adult lounge, and multipurpose rooms!

Here is what is happening at McWane Pool and the Rec Center Pool the remainder of the summer.

Wednesday, August 5th: McWane Pool will close at 4pm for the Wytheville Waves swim banquet

Friday, August 7th: McWane Pool will remain open until 10:30pm for our final Night Swim. This night swim is Luau themed, and the Luau party will begin at 5 pm.

Sunday, August 9th: Final day that McWane Pool will be open for the 2026 season.

Monday, August 10th: Final day that the Rec Center pool will be open from 6am-8pm Monday-Friday. Weekend schedule will remain the same.

Tuesday, August 11th: First day back to “school schedule” for the Rec Center pool. Monday- Friday the pool is open 6am-12pm and 4-8pm. Weekend schedule will remain the same.
