Congratulations to Coach Zach and Shef for winning this weekend. Coach Zach won Outstanding Pitcher. Phenomenal job Coach.

We brought back the Elkland B Weekend championship with a 7-1 victory over Eagle AA.

Zachary Shirk won the Most Outstanding Pitcher award throwing 21.2 innings in 5 of the game with a 1.615 ERA. Shirk allowed 13 hits, gave up only 6 runs and struck out 22.

Elias Gehman and Ryan Sheffer both had an incredible weekend at the plate, making the MVP decision tough. Elias has 9 hits and batted .563 with a .667 OBP. 2 homeruns and 6 RBI's. Sheffer had 10 hits, batted .556 with an OBP of .652. Shef also had 3 homeruns and 8 RBI's. This includes a 3 run shot in the last inning of the semi-final game (against Professional Petroleum) that tied things up. Elkland gave the MVP to Sheffer but both players deserved the award.

We also want to give a shout out to the GOAT, Bart Fenstermacher. Bart took his first at bat since his surgery earlier this year. He pinched hit to lead off the bottom of the 7th in our semi-final game. We were losing 6-2 going into our at bats and he started us off with a hard single up the middle. This hit lead to our 7th inning comeback victory against Professional Petroleum.

This concludes our tournament season. We will back for Stevens League playoffs tomorrow night, at 6:45 PM, against Bear Bottom Lodge.

Crazy for me to think that Zach, Dalton and I moved in to this location 5 years ago. An entire WH redesigned in 1 month with the help of some tremendous parents along the way. Over those 5 years we have had 2 massive expansions as we outgrew the space.

Adding 2 additional cages and speed training turf then building out a 1500 sq ft gym for higher end training, hiring 8 former college players to handle all the private lessons, it’s been just an absolutely amazing journey.

To the parents, we can’t thank you enough. We LOVE what we do for baseball, softball and sports strength and speed training. Thank you
