We would like to welcome Zachary Kassel to the Penn State Berks Bowling program! Zach is coming to us from East Syracuse-Minoa High School. During his time there as a sophomore he ended the season with a 215 average and shooting 300 with an 824. His junior year he ended with a 223 average, winning the section 3 sectionals individual shootout to make states, also winning sectionals to make states as a team. Then proceeded to win states individually with shooting a 300. Senior year Zach won sectionals again, won individual shootout again, and ended up 2nd at team states. Outside of school zach bowls in almost any and every tournament that he can. He has 1 YBT title and has multiple top 5 finishes. He is also a 2025 and 2026 junior gold qualifier and is hoping for a great finish this year! We are thrilled to have him join us! WE ARE!!

Today was the last practice for our president, 4 year varsity bowler, Harry Charlessen Lion heart award winner, former team MVP, Achievement award winner, and Penn State Berks legend, Brady Knox. Brady has put in a tremendous amount of effort into improving on the lanes, growing as a leader, and becoming the best version of himself. We are so grateful for the positive impact he has had on our program, teammates, and coaching staff. Brady we cannot express this enough, thank you for everything and congratulations on graduating from Penn State Berks!!! WE ARE!!!! 💙🤍

Today we say goodbye to one of the most impactful Penn State Berks bowlers, Evan Guthrie. While Evan was never the most talented bowler on the lanes, he made up for that play with his positive attitude, encouragement of teammates, and just being the best chief vibes officer a team could ask for. He was the founding member for the Unsung Hero award, and he serves as a great reminder that you don’t need to be the best bowler on the lanes to make the team better! Evan thank you for everything and good luck at University Park! WE ARE!!!! 💙🤍

Here are some highlights from our 2026 Penn State Berks Bowling Banquet! We are so proud of the way this team competed this year. We truly built a family of selfless bowlers who are constantly working to improve. We also went to do escape rooms after and broke the record for the fastest escape from the Last Vampire Escape room!

Our last award for the 2026 season is the Achievement award, Brady Knox has meant so much to this team and program, being out president and leader for the past 3 years. Bowling with the team for 4 years Brady has received the Most Valuable Player award and Harry Charlessen Lionheart award though out his time with the program. Brady has gone through tremendous growth as a bowler, person, and leader. Brady we cannot express in words how much you mean to this program, thank you and congratulations on graduating from Penn State Berks!!

We are honored to award Andria Addis with the Harry Charlessen Lionheart Award. Named after the late great Harry Charlessen, this award goes to a student athlete who has given an exceptional amount of time to the Penn State Berks Bowling team, and the community around us. Over the past 4 years Andria has been an exceptional member of our program, being our vice president for 3 years. She even fulfilled her duties as vice president when sitting out a year to retain an extra year of eligibility. Andria is a selfless person; as a female on a men’s division team she gave up the opportunity to be selected for numerous women’s division all tournament teams throughout the years. Congratulations and thank you for your amazing contributions to our team and we are excited to see what you can achieve in your final season!

We are proud to award Jordan Brown as our Most Valuable Player. Voted on entirely by the bowlers on the team, Jordan was recognized for his hard work, consistency, and leadership on and off the lanes. Jordan held the highest average on the team, was a consistent anchor bowler during Baker games, and received multiple all tournament team nods. Congrats Jordan!
