Unfortunately, the world is full of complainers. What matters is continuing to advance recreation, supporting the volunteers doing the work, and focusing on solutions rather than constant criticism. Trails don’t maintain themselves, meetings don’t attend themselves, and advocacy doesn’t happen without people willing to step up.

Membership dollars pay for:
✔ Payroll for 2 staff
✔ MISORVA operations
✔ Our professional lobbyist
✔ The advocacy work that protects your trails

Every Board member who attends meetings pays for their own lodging and travel. They show up because they care. This is passion—the same passion that keeps snow and dirt trails maintained by volunteers across Michigan.

📸 Show Us Your Favorite ORV! 🏁

We know Michigan riders have some amazing machines and unforgettable trail memories, and we want to see them and share them with our Legislators!

Drop a photo of your favorite ORV in the comments and tell us:
✅ What you ride
✅ Where is your favorite place to ride
✅ Why is it your favorite machine

Whether it's an ATV, SxS, Jeep, 4WD trail rig, mud machine, or a family favorite that's been with you for years, we want to celebrate the riders who make our recreation great.

Your photo may even be featured in a future MISORVA post or publication!

Ready, set, share those rides! 📷👇

Be aware of changes.

ATV trails are Letters.

Know where you ride. The ATV trails in our system are all marked with letters. The main trail is B the off shoots correspond with that. Such as the BD trail, Hancock to Lake Linden. Snowmobile trails are numbered. Some trails are multiuse so they will have both. Like Hancock to Lake Linden which is snowmobile trail #3 ATV Trail BD. If you are ONLY on a numbered trail, you are riding in the wrong area. This could lead to tickets and fines. We are guests on private property, please be respectful. We do not want to lose any trails in our system. ATV or Snowmobile.
