Here is a good drill to try if your struggling with ball contact
1. Get setup in your golf stance
2. Cross your arms across your chest
3. Rotate just your shoulders and focus on keeping your head and lower body still. Think your shoulders are rotating around your head and your head should not move from side to side.

Great lesson with a couple regulars who are determined to get better. First picture is from the beginning of our lesson and second is at the end. He would hit shots that would start right and go farther right. If this is a problem you have, try this..
At the top of your backswing, the first move to make is with your back foot, get that weight transfer started and finish with the weight on your lead leg. As you see in the pictures, he would keep his feet still the entire swing and that results in the club face being open at impact. Weight transfer = square club face and straighter shots.
