Midland Girls ended the regular season with three straight wins at home Our latest win was 13-2 over 3A Camanche. Another solid pitching performance by Anna Bartels back by great defense. The offense was hitting on all cylinders as well It is a pleasure to coach this group of outstanding athletes.

Congratulations to Anna Bartles and the Midland softball team for their 12-0 win over West Branch here on Senior night. Anna threw a no hitter The defense was stellar behind her and the offense was crushing the ball Great win

The 19th of July at 5 o'clock, we will be having our softball banquet to honor this group of young ladies for their 2023 season.

After the banquet I will be moving to Kentucky. I can't tell this community how honored I was to coach at the high school I played at and graduated from.

A big thanks to Lenny Miller for bringing me on board to help with the high school Football team and introducing me to Zach H who involved me with coaching the softball team .

It was great coaching Jr High Football with Raymond D and teaching the boys how to play the game of football and watching them grow into young men. There is a bright future for the upcoming years.

I want to thank Ryan L for letting me help coach girls track I was at Des Moines for our first state track champion and our most recent one. That makes me old. Lol. I have a feeling there we will more in the near future.

The softball team had a set back this year but they have so much athletic ability. 2024 will be their breakout season. Watching them play that final game put a smile on my face as they made me very proud the way they finished that game. It started to click

This community can be very proud of the fine young ladies and men they have raised. Second to none.

Ben H did a great job getting all these athletes ready to play all sports. Ben you will be missed
