Camp Scully

Camp Scully Camp Scully is a co-ed, Overnight Summer Camp for children and teens aged 7 to 17. We also offer a Day Camp program for children aged 5-15.

Camp Scully is located on Snyder’s Lake in North Greenbush approximately 10 miles from Albany, New York. Camp Scully has six core values which guide our daily life: Service, Caring, Understanding, Love, Loyalty and Youthfulness. Campers learn to embody these values throughout the week by earning "letters" awarded daily. Camp Scully has 22 acres of land on which are 10 children’s cabins, playing fi

elds, hiking trails, beach area, archery field, ropes course and recreation hall. Campers spend their week with 9 other children in their age group and two adult counselors. Cabins are split by gender and are in separate areas of the camp. For the overnight camp, children arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Friday evening. Camp Scully's Day Camp is the only American Camp Association Camp accredited Day Camp in the Capital Region, providing safe and high quality experience for your young child aged 5 to 11 years.

Meet Gabe (they/them), one of Scully’s new first-year Kitchen Counselor hybrid! 🐾
Gabe is entering the year with pure excitement and enough energy to manage a literal home zoo. They share a roof with 10 pets: 3 dogs (including Kesha the singing dog), 5 cats (including Thumbelina, who has extra toes), and 2 birds. 🐶🐱🦜
When they aren't running an animal kingdom, Gabe is probably eating…. Or maybe MAKING AT SCULLY… the ultimate comfort meal: chicken spaghetti, and a three-cheese grilled cheese stuffed with turkey and salami anyone?

Meet Dom from Houston!
This is his first year at camp, and he’s bringing that Texas energy. He’s a big Houston Rockets fan who loves snacking on hot chips and listening to Donell Jones.
Dom looks up to his dad for his success and resilience, living by the motto: "A moment of pain is worth a lifetime of greatness."

From Wenzhou, China!!!!!!! she’s making her debut,
A first-year at Scully, with a fresh point of view!
She’s Vivi (she/her), and she’s here to play,
With cucumber sticks to snack on all day.
Back home there’s a family of four in the mix,
Plus Dandan the Pom—full of cuddles and tricks.
She’s a Swiftie at heart, but when it’s game time?
It’s Soccer and Spain, in their absolute prime.

Meet Gabi—also answering to Gabo—fresh off his rookie season at Scully and already bringing main-character energy.
Hailing from Mexico and representing a full squad at home (mom, dad, two sisters, and a brother), he’s basically been in team mode his whole life—so of course he picked soccer and Barcelona. Fuel him with tacos dorados and Hershey’s white chocolate, throw on some Suei or Latin Mafia, and you’ve got a counselor operating at peak performance.
Also, fair warning: if you hear tiny footsteps, it might just be his Chihuahua spirit animal keeping watch.
