In all the years that I have been a part of Devil Cats I have never had to write anything that truly breaks my heart more than what I am about to write.
Yesterday the Devil Cats family lost an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather and one of the greatest coaches to put on a DC hat. Carl Mai was not only one of the coaches on our team but he was my friend. He would always be there to calm me down on the field if my anxiety was through the roof while Jay Coonan Stephanie Striker Coonan would chuckle lol. Always there to lend a hand at the field and always there just to talk. He was a FIGHTER! You fought hard my friend.. now rest easy! He will be truly missed by many. To the Mai family we are deeply saddened by Carl’s passing and our condolences to your family. To my friend Carl.. you were an amazing man and friend and will be greatly missed! See you on the other side.

The 10u Devil Cats team is looking for 2 more players to fill our spring roster. We’re looking for infielders/pitchers. If interested or curious reach out to Coach Buddy Hencke, lots of opportunity to grow with this team. Winter workouts and optional 1 on 1 training starting in January. We can schedule a player evaluation anytime!
