Wendling Knives and Leather custom forged handmade knives and custom leather holsters Mostly I make hunting/utility type fixed blade knives and
occasionally make fighter type knives.

I primarily use
carbon steels in my knife making as they are compatible
to forge. I will occasionally build knives with stainless
steel, but they will not be forged. As with all custom
knives, if you request one of my designs, the knife you
receive will be extremely similar, but may not be exact
because each knife is custom made. I use various woods, most of which are stabilized. Fittings can be b

rass, stainless, or nickel silver. All knives come with a leather or kydex sheath custom
made for that knife. If you have a design in mind or just certain
specifications, email me and i will be happy to discuss
your knife with you. Turn around time on orders is
usually about six to eight weeks (but that can change
depending on the number of orders I have at the time). I
accept Paypal, major credit cares, money orders, and
personal checks (but nothing will ship prior to the check
clearing). A non-refundable deposit is sometimes
required prior to starting on the knife. If for some reason
you are not satisfied with the knife upon receipt, then
the deposit will be returned along with price of the knife
(except shipping costs) as long as the knife is returned
unused. Pricing is based on materials, but the average (4-5"
blade) is $225. Larger knives, of course, will cost more. I personally guarantee all my knives for the lifetime of
the knife. If there are any problems with the knife
through normal usage, send it back to me and it will be
repaired, replaced, or your money will be refunded,
whichever works best for you.
