Hello, I'm Coach Allie, a dedicated swim coach with a deep passion for teaching both kids and adults how to swim while instilling a love for the water. I specialize in offering private lessons at an affordable rate, utilizing play as my primary teaching tool. What sets me apart is my commitment to catering to individuals who may face unique challenges, including anxiety, water trauma, sensory sens
itivity, and neurodiversity. My journey in the world of swimming began in 2015 when my daughter (Coach Hannah) expressed her desire to join a swim team. This pivotal moment reignited my love for coaching and teaching. By 2017, I had become the Varsity and Junior Varsity Swim Coach at a small private school, where I had the opportunity to shape young swimmers' skills and inspire their love for the sport. However, life threw unexpected challenges my way, and overnight, I found myself the mother of two children with significant special needs. In navigating this new chapter, I immersed myself in understanding the systems and resources available, relentlessly advocating for my own children's needs. Along this transformative journey, I unintentionally discovered my passion for working within the sensory and neurodiverse community. My ultimate goal as a swim coach is to meet each individual exactly where they are, providing personalized instruction that accommodates their unique learning styles. With empathy and patience as my guiding principles, I aim to create a safe and nurturing environment where everyone feels supported and empowered. I firmly believe that swimming can be a transformative experience for individuals of all backgrounds, and I am dedicated to sharing this joy with each and every one of my students. Join me in the water, and together, we'll embark on a journey of growth, confidence, and a lifelong love for swimming.
