Claws for a Cause is planned as a great afternoon of food, friends and support for the Wyandotte Roosevelt Rowing Team —but we need to reach a minimum of 60 tickets sold to make the fundraiser possible.

If you have been thinking about joining us, now is the time to reserve your dinner! Every ticket helps us move closer to our goal while supporting the student-athletes who put so much time, teamwork and dedication into RHS Rowing.

The WBC’s annual membership election for open Board of Directors seats was held on Tuesday, August 25th. There was a great turnout of members in attendance!

There were four three year terms available. For the three “A” seats, incumbents Tim Cardanha, Brent Masserant, and Tom Dudus retained their board seats. For the one open “B” seat, Anthony Gasiewski is now the club’s newest board member. Congratulations!

The newly elected board also on Tuesday, August 25th elected the club’s officers in a separate meeting. Starting in October, Tom Dudus will be President, Don Ukrainec-Vice President, Fred Mekolon-Treasurer, Dan Fitzgerald-Assistant Treasurer, Chris Puhl-Membership Secretary, Marybeth Jakubowski-Recording Secretary, and Alison Duley- Corresponding Secretary.

The WBC Board of Directors consists of twelve volunteer members who manage the operations and finances of the over 150 year old rowing organization.
