We’ve been working on something exciting, and now we need your help!

The Endless Gravel PA route network will be expanding to include day routes, and we need riders to help us test them out and appear in the highlight photos. The routes will start from 12 towns throughout our 4 counties, with the target to publish 30+ day rides this season.

, who you might know as our filmmaker on the onewheel from last year’s Grand Depart, is leading the photography portion of our route project. Over the next few weeks, he’ll be here riding all of these routes and taking photos, and he’s looking for people to ride with and photograph. We have a variety of routes, and we need a variety of people in the photos! So whether you’re down for a short morning ride or an all-day adventure, we want to ride with you!

Would you like to test some of these routes with Alden and be included in the photos? Comment below if you’re interested, or message us directly, and we will figure out which routes and dates work for everyone!

Who wants to go for a ride through Sullivan County, PA?

Sullivan County is one of 4 counties that make up the Endless Mountains Heritage Region. While the county may have a small population (second smallest in PA according to the 2020 Census), it has lots to offer in terms of cycling! From the dramatic views at Worlds End State Park to access and camping on the western edge of Ricketts Glen State Park, and all the gorgeous gravel roads of the state game lands and forests in between, it’s a cycling paradise.

Two of our bikepacking routes run through Sullivan County. The Endless Mountains 250 and 430 enter the county in the northwest corner around Shunk and wind through the hills and valleys for ~115 miles, leaving on the eastern edge after riding through SGL 66.

The county offers several good options for resupply in Hillsgrove, Eagles Mere, and Dushure, and many other smaller shops and restaurants are dotted in between. Camping is plentiful in the county, with several dispersed campsites in Loyalsock State Forest, the Worlds End SP Family Campground, and a handful of campgrounds with more amenities just off the route.

Our bikepacking routes are available to ride at anytime on our page. You can also ride during our Grand Depart in September, where you can race our tour all three of the routes and experience the unique trail magic along the way. More information on the routes and Grand Depart is linked in our bio.

We are just 5 months away from the Endless Mountains Grand Depart, and the 115 route got an update. Our short loop got some changes after Canton that will route riders by a perfect campsite for the night and allow them to ride the 115 as a two-day overnighter. Riders can camp at Sunfish Pond, where tent sites are $25/night and RV sites with electric are $45. They also have primitive cabins available for $50/night.

You can check out the update route on our page, linked in our stories and bio.

Final routes will be confirmed with any updates closer to the Grand Depart. Make sure you register for the Grand Depart to receive the updated rider packet and more information as we finalize it.

Temporary Route Detour!

A key bridge on the Endless Mountains 430 is currently closed for repair following a truck accident. The bridge is located at mile 408 as you’re leaving Wyalusing. There is a suggested road detour for cars, and we will be sharing a bike-friendly detour as soon as possible.

Repairs are beginning today and are expected to be complete by July 1st, in time for the Grand Depart in September. If you’re planning to ride the EM430 before then, please reach out so that we can help you coordinate around this road closure.

This bridge is a key connector for the Endless Mountains 430 Route! We will share a bike-friendly detour ASAP.
