Three months ago I broke my ankle.
Not foiling — filming.
The doctor looked at the X-rays and said I might never do that again.
Foiling isn’t just a sport for me.
It’s therapy.
It’s where I breathe.
It’s where I reset.
After three months of physical therapy, hard work, setbacks, and showing up anyway…
I finally got back in the water.
Surrounded by friends.
Backed by family.
Grateful beyond words.
That first lift felt quiet.
Smooth.
Like the ocean saying, welcome back.
