Before The Honorable President and Former Heavyweight Champion Joe Rules could even finish the opening announcement, Tag Team Champions The Unleashed—"Thrillmonger" Andd Bivians & "Crawler" Joe Scott came out to protest. Andd Bivians, who has been sidelined with a broken heel for months, was wearing a boot on his injured foot and using a cane. They explained that as Bivians was obviously still injured, there would be no tag team title match tonight. Their scheduled opponents, The Stepdads—"Rad Dad" Radley Belmont & "Poppa Bear" Wade Krueger, came out to confront them. President Joe Rules insisted the titles would be defended tonight, and if Andd Bivians couldn't wrestle, Joe Scott would either have to defend the titles by himself or find another partner. Joe Scott said he had another partner after all and asked him to come out. The Stepdads turned to see who would exit the locker room, and that's when both Andd Bivians and Joe Scott jumped them from behind! Bivians removed his boot to show that he was completely healed after all! Joe Rules grabbed the boot before he could smash The Stepdads with it, and a brawl between both teams ensued. It took both officials as well as wrestlers from the back to get the two teams separated, and President Rules reiterated that the tag team title match would take place as scheduled later tonight!
Once the dust settled, Joe Rules explained the rules of the Tag Team Tempest: Two wrestlers are drawn at random to face two other wrestlers drawn at random in a tag team match. Four such bouts will take place. Each winning team will advance to the Tempest Battle Royal, where it's every man for himself!
1) The opening contest was a Tag Team Tempest match. Fred Frappier drew the names for The Honorable President and Former Heavyweight Champion Joe Rules to announce. "Deranged" Wyatt Ravage of The Harris Three wound up teaming with New Egypt Rumble Winner "Strange and Unusual" Eris Spiral to defeat the combination of The Holder of the Golden Ticket to Mayhem Nate Mustang and, as fate would have it, The "Jekyll" Lawrence Spiral! The Spirals did not hold back against each other at all, but it was Wyatt Ravage who pinned Nate Mustang to pick up the victory. Wyatt Ravage and Eris Spiral advanced to the Tempest Battle Royal.
2) In the second Tag Team Tempest match of the evening, "Chop Daddy" Biggie Biggs and The Big Icon Magic defeated JT of The Harris Three and, returning to the UWC after a lengthy absence, The Inferno. Biggs and Magic emerged victorious after The Inferno unsuccessfully tried to double-chokeslam them, and Biggie Biggs scored the pinfall. Biggie Biggs and Magic advanced to the Tempest Battle Royal.
3) In the third Tag Team Tempest bout of the night, Warhead teamed with "Battle Royal Specialist" Mr. ZL to defeat the combination of Mr. Spectrum, accompanied by Mr. Black, and United States Champion The Gargantuan. Mr. ZL, of course, is actually Craig Z-List. There is no rule against Z-List competing in a match, so we don't understand why he attempts to poorly hide his identity. Warhead was especially unhappy about teaming ZL, since the two of them were actually paired up at last year's Tag Team Tempest as well! Former tag team championship partners Mr. Spectrum and The Gargantuan were unable to function as a team, and an angry Gargantuan ultimately delivered a Silverback Slicer to Mr. Spectrum, allowing Mr. ZL to steal the pinfall. Warhead and Mr. ZL advanced to the Tempest Battle Royal.
4) Because Kyle Moore was home sick with the flu and unable to compete, the fourth and final Tag Team Tempest match was actually a handicap match. The combination of Samael Harris of The Harris Three and Iron Bull Argus, who was accompanied by Craig Z-List, defeated "The Leader" Kyle Payne via countout. Kyle Payne chased Samael Harris all around the American Legion while Iron Bull Argus was the legal man in the ring. Samael Harris and Iron Bull Argus advanced to the Tempest Battle Royal.
5) World Heavyweight Champion Flash Carter successfully defended his title with a pinfall victory over "Big Poppa Parm" Joey Angelo with Craig Z-List. This was another outstanding bout between these two that could have gone either way, but Flash Carter was able to hit the Rainbow Cutter for the win. It is very likely these two will face each other again down the line.
6) Tag Team Champion The Unleashed—"Thrillmonger" Andd Bivians & "Crawler" Joe Scott defeated The Stepdads—"Rad Dad" Radley Belmont & "Poppa Bear" Wade Krueger to retain their title. In the heat of the action, Referee Jimmy Storm got knocked out, giving The Unleashed the opportunity to eventually hit a low blow, revive the referee, and get the three count. The fans, as well as The Stepdads, want a rematch!
7) The main event was the Tempest Battle Royal: The winners of the Tag Team Tempest matches have advanced to the Tempest Battle Royal, where it's every wrestler for themself! The eight wrestlers begin in the ring, and a wrestler is eliminated when he or she is thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. However, when only two wrestlers remain, the bout will continue as a singles match which can end by pinfall, submission, countout or disqualification, OR still via over-the-top rope elimination! "Strange and Unusual" Eris Spiral, Iron Bull Argus, The Big Icon Magic, Warhead, "Battle Royal Specialist" Mr. ZL, and Samael Harris were all eliminated, leaving just "Deranged" Wyatt Ravage and "Chop Daddy" Biggie Biggs. In the end, Biggie Biggs was able to hit his finisher on Wyatt Ravage for the pinfall to win the Tag Team Tempest II! Before he could even celebrate, The Harris Three—Samael Harris & Wyatt Ravage & JT jumped Biggie Biggs, but Warhead and "The Leader" Kyle Payne rushed out to even the odds!
