What is it?
It’s a class I launched in November of 2017 to create community & focus on full body strength in under an hour- always progression over perfection.
Full-body strength training is one of the most effective ways to build lean muscle, support metabolism, improve bone density, protect joints, and enhance long-term health and performance.
Training the entire body together helps improve functional movement patterns, posture, balance, coordination, and overall strength for EVER-DAY LIFE — not just the gym.
It also creates a greater metabolic demand, making workouts efficient and beneficial for heart health, blood sugar control, and healthy aging.
Today we included jump roping with a weighted rope - this adds another layer of benefits by combining cardiovascular conditioning, coordination, power, grip strength, shoulder endurance, and lower-body elasticity all in one movement.
The added resistance challenges the upper body and core while the repeated jumping helps stimulate bone health and improve agility, rhythm, and athleticism.
Together, full-body strength training and weighted jump rope work create a powerful combination for strength, conditioning, resilience, and longevity.
