Cheers to the 2025–2026 Lady Trojans Girls Varsity Basketball Team what a season! It’s officially a wrap!

Last night, we celebrated our Winter Sports Awards Night, recognizing our players across multiple categories including MVP, Sportsmanship, Coaches’ Choice, MaxPreps Players of the Game & Year, Bayside Honorable Mentions, and more.

This season had its ups and downs, but through it all, we stayed resilient and finished strong.

Congratulations to Kent County High School Lady Trojans Jane Cleary, Talicia Wright, and Aaliyah Waits on earning Honorable Mention for the 2025–2026 Girls Varsity Basketball Season in the North Bayside Conference.

These young ladies played a huge role in the success of the Lady Trojans this season and truly made their mark on the conference. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the game did not go unnoticed.

Congratulations to KCHS Lady Trojan Freshman Aaliyah Waits, who was named MaxPreps Player of the Game on February 20th after recording a season-high double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Her outstanding performance helped lead the Trojans to a victory over the St. Michaels Saints.

The win improved the Trojans’ final regular season record to 8–11 as they now head into the playoff season with momentum and confidence.
