Every day is a good day for fishing, but this one became special for Judson Klaus when he hooked this nice bass while fishing with Grandparents Jack and Shirley Klaus.

Just a reminder that if someone is using the rifle range or trap area, Please wait until they are finished to use the other. Just check with them as to how long they will be until they are finished. If using the trap area there is a gate to the rifle range. Please close it and hang the sign Trap Area In Use on it and then reopen the gate when finished. Thanks for your cooperation.

Just a reminder that no motor vehicles of any kind are allowed to drive on the peninsulas. This is to eliminate any damage to the land. Signs have been posted. Thank you for your cooperation.

With the nicer weather, members are starting to bring their dogs out to let them run or take a dip in the pond. It is a nice place to do this, all we ask is that you clean up after them out of respect for all other members that are out there fishing or taking a walk. Also if there are other members out there with their dogs, please keep your dog on a leash. This is not only for your dog's safety but also for members' safety. Thank you for your cooperation on this issue and enjoy your time out at the pond.

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*

Due to the recent rain and everything wet out at the pond the Worthington Sportsmen will be postponing spring clean up this Saturday 4-18 and will be having it next Saturday 4-25 hope you can make it as we have several projects scheduled. Also the RIFLE RANGE will be CLOSED until further notice due to road conditions

The Worthington Sportmen will be having their spring clean up day on April 18 start time 9:00 Am, with a rain date of April 25. We have several projects that need to be done. Bring along any tools such as rakes, pruners, saws or any other tools you think would be helpful in assisting in cleaning up, all help is appreciated. If April 18 is canceled due to weather, we will send an email out ASAP. The rifle range will be closed that day. Lunch will be served
