Pickleball is alive and well in Worland. The city demolished the old tennis courts at Newell Sargent Park in anticipation of construction of the new six court facility coming this summer

Pickleball is alive and well in Worland, pickleball capital of the Big Horn Basin!
The city council held a work session last night and received an update on the fund raising. They directed that the existing tennis court facility in Newell Sargent Park should be removed and the ground work completed so that when the bid is awarded (we are weeks away from that) work can begin.

I got a call today from a gentleman in AZ looking for a place to move to for the summer in Wyoming. His prime and main focus is that pickleball has to be alive and well there. Other places he was interested in were Lander and Sheridan. When it comes to pickleball, the phrase "if you build it, they will come" is the truth!
