It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Fran Granger, a beloved Little League coach, mentor, and friend to so many in our community.

In 2002, Coach led the Jesse Burkett baseball team on an unforgettable journey to the Little League World Series—a moment that brought pride, excitement, and unity to everyone who followed their incredible run. But beyond the wins and accolades, Fran will be remembered most for his dedication to the kids he coached, his steady encouragement, and the life lessons he instilled both on and off the field.

He had a way of making every player feel valued, teaching not just the game of baseball, but teamwork, resilience, and respect. His impact will live on in the countless lives he touched.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, former players, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Coach. You will never be forgotten. ⚾💙

Games will be played on Tuesday and Friday nights at Vernon Hill Field (other fields may be added based on team enrollment).
Cost: $150
Season will run from April 28th through June 12th (Weather permitting).
Registration closes on March 18th!!

REGISTRATION CLOSES TOMORROW 8/22/2025 @ 9PM

Please reach out with any questions or if you are having difficulty registering!!

Share with friends and any league administrators share with your players! ALL girls ages 12 to 16 (Rising 12 year olds that will be league age in the Spring) are eligible to play.

Do not hesitate to reach out an contact me with any questions, concerns, or if you need help registering. The season starts September 5th. All games with be played on Friday and Saturday nights.

Cost to play is $75 (Don't let this be the reason your child doesn't play, there may be some financial aid available).
