Coach Raymond was the head coach of the gold medal winning 1996 and 2000 US Olympic Softball teams. A three-sport captain at the old Commerce High and later captain of the University of Miami baseball team, Raymond coached baseball and football at Doherty High, winning a Super Bowl on the gridiron.
