Regatta Point Community Sailing held its Annual Meeting at the Post Office Pub on Wednesday night, bringing together board members, staff, and community members to review the past year and take key steps for the season ahead.
Members voted on several organizational items, including the adoption of a level-service budget designed to support program continuity and operational stability.
The evening also included recognition of youth participants whose growth and leadership reflect the strength of our programs, as well as a generous $5,000 contribution from a member in support of continued access and opportunity. Board Director Bob Paradis also shared highlights from a recent British Virgin Islands charter, offering a reminder of the broader boating community and experiences that connect us.
We also recognized the contributions of outgoing board members and welcomed two individuals stepping in to complete the remainder of their terms, ensuring continuity in leadership during this transition.
Together, these moments reflect a shared commitment to sustaining Regatta Point as a consistent, community-based resource—providing structured, skill-building opportunities for youth and accessible programming for individuals and families throughout the region.
Thank you to our board for its continued leadership and to all who participated.
As we move into the upcoming season, our focus remains on delivering high-quality programs that expand access, build confidence, and support long-term engagement on the water. We continue to focus our efforts in support of our mission: Boating For All ⚓️🌊
