Coaches corner: ⭐️ ♥️ 💪🏽
As I was practicing yoga this morning in a typically packed class, where you really only have a couple of inches between each person, I looked over and noticed that the woman next to me had an undone clip on her sports bra. I thought to myself, “Oh God, this could be bad.” Do I whisper and tell her, but fear disrupting others, or do I just let it be and hope for the best? After staring at it for a couple of minutes and dreading what could possibly come of it, I decided to whisper over and tell her that one of her clips was undone. She smiled and said thanks. A couple of minutes passed, and she looked at me and whispered, “Thanks for looking out for me.” In that moment, those six words meant so much more to me than just telling her something; they actually resonated with the absolute need for women to look out for each other, (and the same goes for men)
There are often times where you feel overwhelmed and are balancing different activities, where, in the end, you're the last person you're thinking about. It's crucial that despite the chaos you face every day, you take the time to pause, look around, and look out for each other because in the end , you might be the one person looking out for them, and how special is that 😊
