⚾💙 And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Worcester Little League season! 💙⚾

What an incredible summer it has been.

From Opening Day to our final games, we watched our players grow in confidence, learn new skills, make friendships, and create memories that will last far beyond this season. That’s what Little League is all about.

This year, instead of hosting a league-wide Home Run Derby, we chose to provide each team with funds to celebrate in their own way—whether that meant awards, a team party, or another special way to recognize their players. We hope each team has enjoyed, or will enjoy the opportunity to celebrate the season together.

A huge thank you to:
❤️ Our volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents.
❤️ Our umpires and board members who spent countless hours behind the scenes.
❤️ Our amazing sponsors whose generosity makes this league possible.
❤️ A special shout out to Sandy Knapp for overhauling our concession and making it run smoothly!
❤️ And most importantly, our players and families. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for spending your summer at the ball field.

We are already looking forward to next season and can’t wait to see everyone back on the diamond.

Getting our season together takes so much background work. From opening fields, to ordering supplies, getting sponsorships, setting apps up, and so many more things! We are so thankful for our board members Kimberly Addorisio, Christopher Schmiedel, Irmaris Corder, Tyler VanWormer and Christina Serdy.

Last weeks field opening was postponed due to weather. We were so pleasantly surprised when we were notified that volunteers took it upon themselves to take their Saturday and get our field in perfect shape. Thank you to the McHargue family, the Quadrio Family and the Tiffany Family. It really takes a village and we couldn’t be more thankful for your selfless generosity.

BIG NEWS for the 2026 season! We’ve listened to your feedback and are making some exciting changes:
🔥 Teams will now be grouped by grade, not age! That means classmates stay together, making the season even more fun for the kids (and easier for parents too 😉).
🔥 Introducing PeeWee League! We’re thrilled to launch a brand-new division just for Pre-K and Kindergarten players. It’s the perfect way to get the youngest sluggers out on the field and in the game to learn basics! Note that no games will be played against TBall teams for this league.

❤️ The Jim Jams Pizza Scholarship is BACK and BIGGER than ever! Last year, Jim Jams Pizza stepped up to the plate, covering a Family Registration for a local family with 2+ kids.
