BIG NEWS for the 2026 season! We’ve listened to your feedback and are making some exciting changes:
🔥 Teams will now be grouped by grade, not age! That means classmates stay together, making the season even more fun for the kids (and easier for parents too 😉).
🔥 Introducing PeeWee League! We’re thrilled to launch a brand-new division just for Pre-K and Kindergarten players. It’s the perfect way to get the youngest sluggers out on the field and in the game to learn basics! Note that no games will be played against TBall teams for this league.

❤️ The Jim Jams Pizza Scholarship is BACK and BIGGER than ever! Last year, Jim Jams Pizza stepped up to the plate, covering a Family Registration for a local family with 2+ kids. If a family has already paid and is selected, they’ll receive a refund. If you’d like to pitch in, let us know!

🎉⚾ Worcester Families – Summer Baseball is ON! ⚾🎉

We’re excited to share that Worcester Baseball players (ages 9–12) can now join the Oneonta Youth Summer Baseball League – baseball only at this time!

🧢 Games begin tentatively the week of July 7 and tentatively run on Mondays & Wednesdays through the summer.
📍 Games may be played in Worcester, Oneonta, Laurens, Franklin, Charlotte Valley, and Schenevus – as schools sign up, and the possibility of additional schools possibly joining as teams sign up.
👥 Each Worcester team will have a local coach and possibly a co-coach to lead practices and games.

📌 Please Note: This is not a Worcester Little League or school-sponsored program. Worcester is simply helping coordinate participation in Oneonta Youth League’s program.

What a Day!

Opening Day was a home run — and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our entire Worcester Little League community.

To our volunteers and behind-the-scenes helpers: thank you for showing up early, staying late, setting up fields, flipping burgers, and doing the invisible work that makes days like this happen.

To our board members — Chris Schmiedel, Kimberly Addorisio, Irmaris Corder, Tyler VanWormer, and Christina Serdy: your dedication is unmatched. The planning, coordination, and countless hours you put in behind the scenes are what make days like this possible. We are so thankful for each of you.

To our coaches: thank you for your time, energy, and commitment to our kids — and for bringing heart and hustle to every practice and game.

To the Worcester Fire Department: thank you for safely transporting our players to the field and making the parade so special.

To our parade participants — TJ’s Property Maintenance, Hanford General Contracting, and Casella Waste Systems: thank you for showing up in style and supporting our league in such a fun way.

To our amazing sponsors: your generosity fuels everything we do. From field maintenance to hotdogs, dugout water bottles to team jerseys — you make this league stronger.

To our families and fans: thank you for showing up, cheering loud, and creating the kind of atmosphere that makes this more than a game — it makes it a community.

Worcester Baseball is putting together a Fundraiser Discount Card to help support our 2025 season—and we’d love to feature YOUR business!

We’re looking for local businesses willing to “donate” a small discount or offer (like 10% off, BOGO deals, or freebies with purchase). Your offer will be included on a punch card that we’ll sell to raise funds for uniforms, equipment, and field upgrades for our 100+ local players.
