What a way to kick off our very first tournament as a team! 💪🏻🔥
Calculated Kaos stepped onto the mats at the Johnstown Monroe Youth Open with 6 wrestlers and made it clear that we came to compete. As a brand-new team entering our first competition together, we didn’t just show up — we showed heart, grit, and the kind of fight that defines who we are.
We’re incredibly proud to share that we had multiple wreslters place!! For a first outing as a club, that’s something special. These placements reflect the hard work put in during practices, the tough conditioning, and the commitment each athlete has made to getting better every single day.
More than the medals, what stood out was the effort. Every wrestler represented Calculated Kaos with toughness and sportsmanship. They battled through tough matches, stayed coachable, supported one another, and never backed down. That’s the culture we’re building.
We also want to give a special shout-out to Holden. He hasn’t been wrestling long, but you wouldn’t know it by the way he competes. The growth he’s shown in a short amount of time has been incredible. Holden has truly come out of his shell- gaining confidence, trusting himself, and stepping onto the mat with determination. His drive shows up everywhere in the way he pushes through difficult drills, asks questions to improve, and refuses to quit when things get tough. On the mat, he fights for every point. Off the mat, he carries himself with a quiet focus and a willingness to learn that speaks volumes about his character. That kind of mindset can’t be taught — it comes from within. 💪🏻
This tournament was more than medals and placements. It was the beginning of our journey together. It was proof that the foundation we’re building is strong. And it was a reminder that success isn’t just about winning — it’s about growth, resilience, and showing up for one another.
We couldn’t be prouder of every athlete who stepped on that mat representing Calculated Kaos. This is only the start.
