It’s Race Day!!!

Issac Henry Racing is working on something new…gonna finish out the year in quarter midgets and the Dixie Series but then we are off to dirt.

And just like that Dixie series race 1 is in the books!
Recap from the weekend… We travelled to North Carolina for race 1 of the Dixie Series. Not ever having raced at this track we did not know what to expect for our Heavy 160 and our Unrestricted Animal. We hadn’t raced our heavy 160 yet this year either.

Practice on Friday the temps were warm and we were tight in both and needed some more speed in the hvy 160.

Heat race on Saturday… the temps changed drastically from hot on Friday to cold on Saturday.
We started 5th in the heavy 160 heat and just did not have the speed to get to the front. We finished 4th so that put us starting 7th in the A main.
We finished the A main in 8th. We still didn’t have the speed to get to the front in that one.

In Unrestricted Animal we started on the pole in our heat race and ended 4th. We were really loose in our heat.
In the Main we started 4th and ended 1st for a Dixie win!! We had the speed in this race.

We had some great competition in both these races with some very talented drivers.

Can’t wait until the next Dixie race!!
