Good afternoon, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have called and come by to pay your taxes today for your patience and kindness with the clerks. As you all could see this is a very busy day and can be very frustrating also. Im sorry if you had a lengthy wait time, but this is our busiest day of the year. Don’t panic if you aren’t going to make it today you can use our drop box at the end of the drive thru on the left, or drop it in the mail postmark is excepted but the most important thing is that anytime the last day of the tax year ends on a day we are closed you have until the end of the following business day. So…. Monday, February 2, 2026 is considered January 31, 2026, and your payment will be considered on time. Please have a good weekend and be safe and warm. Thank you, Melissa Carson PCAC

Good afternoon everyone. I just wanted to let you know that due to the bad weather ahead my office will be closed through noon on Tuesday. If things worsen then we will be closed all of that day. I also want to assure you, because some have voiced concerns, that if for some reason we are closed on the last day of the month the tax code states that no further penalty and interest will accrue on taxes until after the first open business day. So January 31st is on Saturday current taxes will have no P&I until after February 2nd. Also anything post marked is considered the same way. Our office will be closing at 2:30 pm today December 23, 2025. There is a drop box available in the drive thru for payments. Merry Christmas 🎄

Due to being shortstaffed because of illnesses, we will be closing from 11:45-12:30 for lunches. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Good afternoon, I just wanted to let everyone know that for the rest of this week we will be closing from 12:00 - 12:30pm in order for my employees to take a short lunch. Please forgive us for the inconvenience but our office is extremely short handed due to illness. Be patient hopefully everything will be back to normal next week.
